TENDER THE FILM
Remember Jenny’s awkwardly witty Hero in Me music video, written and directed by Home & Away’s Rebecca Greensill? This time round, the Australian independent film maker and her Flying Man Films team have made a potently powerful short film showing the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder among soldiers of war. Starring Jake Speer and Philippa Northeast from Home & Away and Zac Drayson from Winter, and original music from our very own Jenny Biddle, this powerful film will pull at your heart strings.
We’ve kept it secret till now; back in 2014, Jenny composed the feature music for this film, creating a most tender and hauntingly powerful theme song, and later recording at Trackdown – Fox Studios – with Sean Carey.
Piece by piece, this genius Rebecca Greensill script has come together. The team has successfully raised $10,000 to cover costs of the project, including film equipment, makeup, costumes, set space/construction/materials, post production costs, etc, and are now heading to the GI Film Festival in Washington DC for an epic premier!
Captured, tortured, beaten and forgotten, the best Andrew can hope for is that death comes soon. But when Matt lands by his side, all that is about to change. Is a single touch enough to bring someone back from the brink?
