Alongside her, Miwa Nagato-Apthorp, described as a “visceral new voice in Scottish folk” 2025 Best Acoustic winner at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards, draws on folk traditions to explore multicultural understandings of history, climate, gender and home, giving voice to stories often left unheard. Together, they weave guitars, piano, shruti box, harmonies and amusing stage banter into an entertaining evening that feels both intimate and expansive.
