Jenny Biddle wins MELBOURNE’S BEST BUSKER for the second year in a row!

Thursday 23rd February, Jenny was crowned Melbourne’s Best Busker for the second year in a row!

The competition was last held in 2010 (washed out in 2011), by the Rotary Club of Melbourne Park in an effort to raise money for HomeGround Services, Melbourne’s leading homeless charity, and Jenny won with her knock out version of Billie Jean.

This year, held in the heart of Melbourne, 10 of the city’s best buskers battled it out in an diversity of genres, to the passers-by at QV Square. Jenny won with her heart-jolting version of Hallelujah on the piano, and her funky blues version of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep.

The Rotary Club of Melbourne Park declared over $2300 was raised for the homeless of Melbourne.

A big thanks to all who came and threw in their spare change for the great cause, and voted Jenny as Melbourne’s Best Busker! It wouldn’t have happened without you.
